DIN 1.2738 (40CrMnNiMo8-6-4) · AISI P20+Ni · GB 3Cr2MnNiMo
DIN 1.2738（通称"2738"）是 P20/2311 系列的镍改良高端版本。约 1% 的镍添加量发挥双重作用：一是提升淬透性，确保大截面（400 mm 及以上）整体硬度均匀；二是细化微观组织，与标准 2311 相比韧性更好，抛光性能更佳。

材料性能
2738 在标准 P20 可能出现心部硬度下降的截面上，实现了 290–340 HB 的均匀硬度。镍的添加使微观组织更细小、均匀，直接提升了抛光性能，降低了抛光时出现"橘皮"缺陷的风险。由于合金含量和硬度较高，可加工性略低于 2311，但硬质合金 CNC 铣削仍较易实现。焊接需预热 200–300°C。
与 2311 一样，该钢种以预硬化状态供货——通常 290–340 HB（约 30–36 HRC）——省去机加工后的热处理。更好的淬透性使 2738 成为大型模块的首选，标准 2311 在这种情况下可能出现明显的心部硬度下降。
2738 更优的抛光性能适合对表面外观有要求的场合——如消费品包装、家电外壳及中光泽汽车内饰件模具。
