Precision Cutting Band Saw & Circular Saw — Same-Day Service Available
PT. Precision Special Steel operates an in-house precision cutting facility capable of processing all 14 steel grades we stock — from soft structural plate through to hardened tool steel. Using both band saw and circular saw equipment, we deliver clean, dimensionally accurate cuts that minimize material waste and reduce your downstream machining load.

Capabilities
Band Saw Cutting
Suitable for solid round bar, flat bar, and plate. Band saw cutting produces a smooth cut face with minimal burring and low material loss (kerf ~1.5–3 mm). Ideal for cutting round bar to length, sectioning plate, and preparing blanks from stock.
Max section: ~400 mm diameter / 400 × 400 mm square. Min cut length: 10 mm. Kerf: ~2 mm typical.
Circular Saw Cutting
High-speed carbide-tipped circular saw for faster throughput on smaller sections. Produces very flat, square cut faces suitable for direct use as mating surfaces. Preferred for round bar and flat bar in medium-to-high hardness steel.
Max section: ~250 mm diameter / 250 × 250 mm square. Excellent squareness tolerance. Kerf: ~3–4 mm.
Dimensional Accuracy
All cuts are made to your specified length with standard tolerance ±0.5 mm per cut. Tighter tolerances available on request — consult our team at time of order.
Standard tolerance: ±0.5 mm. Tight tolerance: ±0.2 mm (on request, may affect lead time).
Same-Day Service
Orders submitted and confirmed (availability and price agreed) before 12:00 WIB are cut and ready the same day. Orders confirmed after noon are ready the following morning.
Cutoff: 12:00 WIB for same-day. Applies to orders within normal capacity. Large-volume orders may require next-day confirmation.
Material Certification
All cut pieces are traceable to the original mill certificate. For specialty and tool steel grades, we supply cut pieces with the relevant Tiangong mill certificate on request.
Traceability maintained by heat/cast number. Mill certificates available for all Tiangong-sourced grades.
Our Equipment
Automatic Band Saw
NC-controlled band saw with programmable cutting parameters. Handles large cross-sections of tool and alloy steel with consistent cut angle and low kerf.
High-Speed Circular Saw
Carbide-tipped circular saw optimized for alloy and tool steel. Delivers flat, square faces with excellent surface finish and minimal deburring required.
Digital Measurement Tools
All cut pieces verified with digital calipers and measuring tape before dispatch. Certificate of conformance available for critical tolerance work.
Steel Grades We Process
Our processing services cover all 14 special steel grades in our catalog — from soft structural steel through to hardened tool steel. No need to source material and processing from different suppliers.
Cutting service is available for all 14 steel grades stocked by PT. Precision Special Steel, including tool steels (SKD11, SKD61), hot work steels (TGE23), plastic mould steels (2311, 2738, TGP80), alloy round bar (SCM440, 4140QT, 4340QT), and carbon steels (S45C, S50C, SS400). We can also cut customer-supplied material on a job basis — contact us to discuss.

Submit Your Cutting List
Send your cutting list by WhatsApp, email, or walk in to our warehouse. Include: steel grade, current stock size, required cut dimensions, quantity per size, and any tolerance requirements.
Confirmation & Quotation
Our team checks stock availability and provides a price quotation within 1–2 hours during business hours. For same-day cutting, confirmation must be received before 12:00 WIB.
Cutting
Upon order confirmation, your pieces are cut to specification in our in-house facility. Our technicians review the cutting list to optimize yield before cutting commences.
Quality Check
Cut pieces are measured and checked against your cutting list before packaging. Dimensions are recorded and any anomalies are flagged to you before dispatch.
Collection or Delivery
Collect from our Cikarang warehouse, or arrange same-day or next-day delivery within the Cikarang/Bekasi industrial area. Delivery to other areas by arrangement.
Pricing & Terms
Turnaround
Same-day for orders confirmed before 12:00 WIB. Next morning for orders confirmed after noon. Rush service available — contact us for off-hours arrangements.
Minimum Order
No formal minimum order. A single cut from a stock piece is acceptable. Small orders incur a minimum cutting charge — enquire for current rates.
