Understanding Mill Test Certificates
A mill test certificate (MTC) is a quality document issued by the steel manufacturer confirming that a batch of material meets the stated chemical composition and mechanical property specifications. It includes the heat number, chemical analysis results, mechanical test results (tensile, hardness), and the applicable standard. For critical tooling and engineering applications, the MTC is an essential part of your quality records and material traceability chain. All material supplied by PSS carries an original MTC from the producing mill.
Mill Certificates Available: All Tiangong steel supplied by PSS is accompanied by original mill test certificates. Material traceability is maintained from mill to end user.
